We meet your adjuster on the roof. We point out every dent, granule loss, and impact mark insurance adjusters miss. We submit the documentation that gets your claim approved.
Permits pulled. Mid-roof inspection passed. Class 4 impact-resistant shingles installed by W-2 crews — not subcontractors. Warranty registered before we leave.

A full roof replacement is the right call when shingles have lost 30%+ of their granules, when wind has lifted multiple courses, or when your insurance has approved coverage. We strip your roof to deck, replace rotted decking, install ice & water shield, synthetic underlayment, and Class 4 impact-resistant shingles rated for Colorado hail. Warranty registers the day we finish.
Colorado is #2 in the country for per-capita hail damage. Mesa County took baseball-sized hail in June. Front Range gets hit every spring. If your roof has seen even a moderate storm, you may have damage you can't see from the ground — granule loss, bruised shingles, cracked flashing. We document it, file the claim, and replace what's broken.
Not every roof issue is a full replacement. Sometimes it's a single pipe boot, a cracked vent, or a flashing gap letting water in. We do honest repair work — and we'll tell you when a repair makes sense vs. when you'd be throwing money at an old roof.
TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen — we install and maintain commercial flat roofs for property managers, restaurants, retail, and warehouses across Colorado. Quick-turn quotes, weekend installations to avoid business disruption.

We're headquartered in Aurora. Our crews live here. After the storm leaves, we don't. Mesa County's building department warned about out-of-town contractors after the June hailstorm — those guys cut corners, skip permits, and disappear. We're licensed where we work.
Insurance paperwork is hard enough in your first language. Our entire team speaks fluent English and Spanish. We translate adjuster calls, explain warranty terms, and make sure nothing gets lost in translation.
Mesa County requires a mid-roof inspection at 10–40% completion. We coordinate it. We pass it. Your homeowner's insurance stays valid because the work was done by the book — not by a guy with a magnetic sign on his truck.

"He worked with our budget and took care of the one thing I hate to do — dealing with the insurance company. Went the extra mile to make sure we were taken care of."
"After the June hailstorm, three out-of-state guys knocked on my door. Gamez was the only local one. They pulled the permit, passed the mid-roof inspection, and my claim got approved."
"Bilingual project manager made the whole insurance process make sense. Class 4 shingles installed in two days. Professional crew, clean cleanup."
A roof replacement in Colorado costs $9,000–$18,000 for a typical 2,000 sq ft home in 2026, with hail-rated Class 4 shingle installs running $11,000–$22,000. Insurance-approved storm damage usually limits your out-of-pocket to your deductible. We provide free written quotes within 48 hours.

Most Colorado homeowner's insurance policies cover sudden roof damage from hail, wind, and falling debris. Whether your specific damage qualifies depends on your policy and the adjuster's inspection. Colorado averages 94 hail events annually causing $151M in property losses, so insurers expect storm-claim activity here.

Most residential roof replacements in Colorado take 1–2 days for a standard pitch on a 2,000 sq ft home. Steeper or larger homes take 2–3 days. Mesa County and Front Range jurisdictions require a mid-roof inspection at 10–40% completion, which we coordinate and pass before continuing.

Yes. Gamez Constructors holds a City of Grand Junction contractor's license and pulls every Mesa County Building Department permit before work begins. We coordinate mid-roof inspections (required at 10–40% completion) and final inspections. Out-of-state storm chasers often skip permits — homeowners then face insurance denials and tear-off costs.

Hail damage often isn't visible from the ground. Look for circular dark spots where shingle granules have been knocked loose, soft 'bruised' spots, cracked or missing shingles, and dented gutters or downspouts. Colorado hailstorms have produced baseball-sized hail in recent years. Schedule a free inspection within 30 days of any major storm.

Class 4 impact-resistant shingles withstand a 2-inch steel ball dropped from 20 feet without cracking — Class 3 shingles fail this test. Many Colorado insurers offer 5–25% premium discounts for Class 4 roofs because they reduce hail-claim frequency. We install Class 4 shingles on every replacement at no upcharge over Class 3 in most cases.

Local roofers carry valid municipal licenses, pull required permits, and stay nearby for warranty service. After Mesa County's June 2025 hailstorm, the Chief Building Official publicly warned about out-of-town contractors doing unpermitted work — homeowners then faced insurance denials. Gamez is Aurora-headquartered with year-round Colorado operations.

If Gamez Constructors recommended you file an insurance claim and it's denied, we will meet your adjuster on the roof again at no cost to walk through the damage and request re-inspection. If the denial holds after re-inspection, you owe us nothing for the inspection or the claim assistance work performed.
