We document. You decide. Your claim gets a fair look.
Most homeowners file one roof claim in their life, against an adjuster who handles several a day. The gap is not fairness, it is documentation. We close that gap: every dent photographed, a written scope in the format adjusters work with, and someone on the roof when they inspect.
Get Your Damage Documented
No cost. No pressure. Insurance claim guidance included.
What We Handle
- Full photo and drone documentation of storm damage
- A written contractor scope of work in the format adjusters work with
- Attending the adjuster's inspection on your roof to point out damage
- Supplement documentation when covered damage is found mid-job
- Plain-English and Spanish explanations at every step
What We Do and What We Do Not Do
The claim is yours. It is between you and your insurer, start to finish. Gamez Constructors documents the damage and provides the contractor scope of work. We do not negotiate or settle claims on your behalf, and we are not public adjusters. Any roofer who tells you they will handle your claim for you is describing work they are not allowed to do.
What we can do matters more than the sales pitch anyway: make sure your adjuster sees every dent, every bruised shingle, and every broken course, documented properly and hard to overlook. We are on the roof during the adjuster inspection, pointing at the damage while it is being measured, not calling afterward to argue about it.
Colorado Law on Deductibles, in Plain Terms
Colorado law, SB 38, says no roofer can pay, waive, or rebate your deductible. Not as a discount, not as a rebate, not as free upgrades that quietly cover it. Anyone who offers is breaking the law, and that is a red flag about everything else they do on your roof and in your paperwork.
The same law gives you the right to cancel a contract within a set window after your insurer denies the claim. We write contracts that respect that, and we explain it out loud before you sign anything. If a salesperson is rushing you through a signature on your porch, that is a reason to slow down, not speed up.
How the Claim Usually Goes
We inspect and document first. If the damage does not support a claim, we tell you before you ever call your insurer. If it does, you file, and we send the photo report and the written scope. Your insurer assigns an adjuster and sets an inspection date. We meet that adjuster on your roof and walk the damage with them.
If covered damage turns up once the tear-off starts, rotted decking under bruised shingles for example, we photograph it and submit supplement documentation rather than eating it or quietly skipping it. Every step gets explained in English or Spanish, whichever you want. You get warranty terms in writing with your quote.

What Customers Said
"Gamez did a killer job. Great cost control and several times caught and address issues others quoting did not while being one of the most cost competitive. Already recommended and used by a few friends with same experience."
"Francisco was knowledgeable about the roof repairs and stepped right in and worked the insurance company to get the work completed."
Where We Do This Work
Frequently Asked Questions
Will you negotiate with my insurance company?
No, and be careful with anyone who says they will. Contractors are not public adjusters in Colorado. What we do is document the damage, provide a written scope, and stand on the roof with your adjuster so nothing gets missed. The claim conversation stays between you and your insurer.
Can you cover my deductible?
No. Colorado law prohibits contractors from paying, waiving, or rebating your deductible. Anyone offering to do it is breaking the law, and that tells you what to expect from the rest of their work. Your deductible is yours, and we quote every job with that understood.
What if my claim is denied?
You can request a re-inspection with your insurer, and our documentation and written scope give that request something to stand on. We will attend a re-inspection and point out what we found. The decision still stays with your insurer, and we will not tell you otherwise.
Do I have to file a claim after your inspection?
No. You get our honest read and the photo report, and filing is always your call. If the damage does not support a claim, we tell you before you pick up the phone. Plenty of inspections end with us saying the roof is fine and leaving you the photos.
