Roof replacement, done by the book.
A replacement is a one-day disruption that has to last decades. We strip the roof to the deck, fix what the old roof was hiding, and rebuild it with Class 4 impact-resistant shingles as the standard. You get a written scope before anyone climbs a ladder.

Class 4 Is Our Standard, Not an Upsell
Colorado hail is not an if, it is a when. That is why Class 4 impact-resistant shingles are what we install on replacements by default instead of quoting a cheaper shingle and hoping the next storm goes around you. A Class 4 roof takes a hit that would bruise a standard three-tab and keeps its granules where they belong.
Many insurers offer a premium discount for Class 4 roofs. We cannot promise yours does, and we will not pretend to know your policy. Ask your agent directly once the roof is on, and ask what documentation they want. We will send you the product information you need for that conversation.
What a Tear-Off Actually Uncovers
Stripping to the deck is the only way to see what the old roof was covering. Soft decking around a chimney, a valley that was patched with caulk, pipe boots that cracked years ago. We replace rotted decking rather than nailing new shingles over a spongy sheet, and we replace flashing and pipe boots instead of reusing tired parts that will outlive nothing.
Ice and water shield goes at the eaves and in the valleys, where snowmelt backs up under shingles in a Colorado February. Synthetic underlayment covers the rest of the deck. Ridge venting lets the attic breathe, which is what keeps the deck dry and the shingles from cooking from underneath.
Repair or Replace: The Honest Version
If your roof has years left, we say so. There is no commission in talking a homeowner into a roof they do not need, and a repair customer who was treated straight is the one who calls us when the roof really is done. At the free inspection you get photos of what we found, a plain explanation of what it means, and a recommendation you can hold us to.
When replacement is the call, the written quote covers scope, materials, and timeline before any work starts. You get warranty terms in writing with your quote. Cleanup happens every day, not just at the end, and we finish with a magnet sweep and a walkthrough with you before the crew loads out.

Where We Do This Work
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-family homes are torn off and reroofed in one to two days once materials arrive. Complex rooflines, steep pitches, and multiple layers take longer. Weather moves schedules too. You get the expected timeline in writing with your quote, and we tell you the day before the crew arrives.
Do I need to replace, or can I repair?
You get an honest assessment at the free inspection. If a repair safely buys you years, that is the recommendation, and we will put it in writing. Replacement is the call when granule loss is widespread, when multiple courses are lifted, or when leaks keep returning in different spots.
What shingles do you install?
Class 4 impact-resistant shingles are our standard install on replacements. You see the exact product, color, and terms in writing before the crew shows up. You get warranty terms in writing with your quote.
Do you handle the permit?
Where a permit is required, we pull it and schedule the required inspection. You do not chase the building department, and you do not sign for the permit yourself. If your jurisdiction does not require one for the scope of work, we tell you that instead of padding the job.
